READING NOOK

Current read

This feels like a classic "intellectual posturing" read; that book you carry around to show off.

But I am perplexed by how, with each passing chapter, Robert Caro convinces me that NYC government bureaucracy is actually drama-laden. I find myself cheering and booing civil leaders of NYC history. He has paired "thriller-suspense-epic" with "government-operational-efficiency-advocacy".

I will also say...this book is chonky. I've been reading for weeks, and my Kindle progress bar says 10%.
